Topic Tourism

Namibia is still the country with the second highest socio-economic inequality in the world and still high unemployment and thus lack of prospects for the black population. The economy has grown continuously in recent years, yet many people live below the poverty line. Periods of drought repeatedly aggravate the situation, especially in extremely hot rural areas. Many children there are particularly malnourished. Tourism is an important social and economic factor for many local people.

For this reason, the concept of socially acceptable tourism is indispensable for TUTUTENGO! We love the people of Namibia and want to ensure that the money we generate with our tourism stays in the country and reaches where it is most needed.
